I enjoy what you take the time to translate and write here my friend, even if I am not a student of poetry I love your quotations and the glimpse into another culture much more gentle than what I have grown up in............

Sinome- Thank you so much for your kind comments. When I started this blog last year, I was not sure how it will be received. Encouraging feedback from my friends who don't have a clue about the priceless Urdu poetry has convinced me that I am doing the right thing. I always been fascinated by the depth of Urdu poetry. This is my humble effort to take it to the non-Urdu speaking community who love poetry. Translating these Urdu verses has been my pleasure. Sometimes it is tough but it is my effort to make it as simple as possible without losing the flavour of the original. I am learning in the process. I'll be happy to serve as long as I possibly can. Wonderful! I don't know if I had told you before but I truly appreciate all the beautiful quotes and poems that you share with us... Its not easy to have access to other culture's wisdom and poetry and through your kindness and effort I am learning so much. Thank you :-)
