I'm so glad she had a girl....oh yeah, celebrate.Certain reminders do keep us awake to what really matters in this world, like that man's journey he shared.

It's a girl!
It was nice to read that the couple had a girl. It was interesting reading about the poet searching for inspiration. I have yet to suffer with writer's block, although I realize it is inevitable. How was Slumdog Millionaire?

Re:
Thanks for the comment and the good wishes Shelly. The whole family are going to have a bumpy ride later on.

Re:
Hallo Sinome and Formerstudent. Well Rachel would have probably just accepted Jacob's point of view; however this disagreement is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak. Various other aspects of the problem  will crop up later in the story.

I loved the baby being a girl, that settled my mind. Your search for something positive through all the bad news is wonderful and don't stop looking for the good luv. .....

I am with FormerStudentIntern ... I wonder what would have happened if it had been a boy

I think a girl lessens the problem, but I think Jacob is going to be sorely disappointed! I think one has to experience poetry before they can write about it as well! The French have said that nature forms the poet and not study! Have a great day with the friend, dinner and a movie! Such a nice way to spend the day! Shelly

I'm glad it's a girl.   That's good news    even if it's just a story.
I get so tired of awful news.
