Go to Life in the Rocking Rectory
- Add a comment
- Go to Ladyday
I'm learning a whole new church vocabulary from you. Today I added Deanery and Ladyday to many others I've already collected from your posts. That's what happens when you've been Southern Baptist all your life and speak a different "language". LOL

Rape of Absalom's sister by his (Absalom's) elder brother which David, their father?? chose to ignore? Well I didn't know and would love to hear more on this, rockingrector. I have, however, read Dryden's Absalom and Achitophel.

British pub lunches are wonderful value, not to mention that pubs are pleasant places now there's a ban on smoking! I'd never heard of Lady day before. Good luck with your attempts to shock the Mothers' Union, sounds fun!
