peace flowers...BTW, Kosher & Halal make those religions more similar than
with Christianity. Jesus said NO HUMAN WILL EVER LIVE BY THE 10 COMMANDMENTS PERFECTLY so why add new commandments/rules? Just a short idea about my Faith, though I am a vegeterian, not vegan. Asalaamulaikum

Eating meat is bad nutrition.Humans have so much sickness in their bodies. But we have doctors and medicine to help. Commercial meat production has no such facility. 'Downer' cows are now being withdrawn from the food supply. Meat makes us sick, as does starch, milk and its by products. Only vegetation has the medicines for health. Blood, present in all meat, is not good for health.

Re: I don't eat it, nor any of the others mentioned there like catfish, lobster
Thanks Ariala for your question
..
slaughter of animals has a specific merciful method in islam and what meant by dead meat is as follows
1. if it is killed by strangling, 2. if it is killed by a violent blow, 3. if it is killed by a headlong fall, 4. if it is killed by being gored to death, 5. if it is killed after being partly eaten by another animal, 6. if it is killed by sacrifice on a stone altar, as a part of an idolatrous rite. 7. if its meat is divided by raffling with arrows etc. which was also an idolatrous rite amongst pagan Arabs.

I don't eat it, nor any of the others mentioned there like catfish, lobster
shrimp and etc. But it looks like your Quran says "dead meat" -- isn't all meat dead? Maybe vegetarianism is the way to go
