I agree, one can't be too cautious after an operation! I can't believe how long emergency room visits take! I wish your son the very best! I think rest is so vital and happy to learn he is getting it! GIANT!!! sam

It's been a while since I have visited a children's hospital. I guess that's because I'm getting old and my children are grown up and most of my grandchildren. But, in the past, I have spent many hours waiting around in waiting rooms there. Kansas City has a wonderful Children's Mercy Hospital. I did a turn of clinicals there when I was on my way to being a nurse.

He probably picked up that flu which is going around, auslander. Not that he needs it, with his ear surgery healing not complete. I know it is a wicked thing, with sore throat, etc...I have it still. Hope he's okay now.
