I am like you, I can't understand what other people can't understand about math. It's great of you to have a tutor for Sohn, he'll catch up in no time.

auslander, I barely scraped through my math courses, too...
Passed them by the skin of my teeth....I always preferred the siences and English.....

Re: Auslander
Probably because they're tougher than boys. In any case, there is usually more baby girls surviving than baby boys. Baby girls have more developed nervous and immune systems at birth than boys (must have something to do with survival of the species: population increase depends on the number of females, as you probably know and in tough time you need all the chances on your side for a few individuals to survive...)

I'm glad your son is healing well. About the math? Oh well, a tutor should do the trick, although I thought math was the same in any language, lol...And apparently there's a correlation between recessions and the sex of the child - in recessions you get more girls, though I'm not at all sure why...

A tutor is worth it, auslander. I did the same for my son. It helped enormously!
