Re: To my friend Big Red..AKA REDSTATESMAN
I don't even know what to say. The poem was beyond beautiful Red, That is a horrible thing to have happened to you and your family. Words can't express my hurt for you. I am so, so sorry. And for once in my life, I can't find find any words that would have any meaning as to how I feel for you.
I'll email you soon. PS I'm glad you are back on here today, I was a little worried.

This Is Just Part Of My Testimony
Poetry Repost From 2004
I have decided to repost my poem from April 6, 2004. This poem holds the most special place in my heart about my daughter Elizabeth. I hope you understand that I have many thanks to give on this Thanksgiving Day 2007.
God's Gift
Years of trying, hoping, praying
God's gift bestowed the beautiful daughter
As six full moons were spent in pride and happiness
the time had too soon come to trust another
The beautiful daughter's future so bright
was stolen, being shaken by a caregiver
The unjust trial marred by tampering
freed the criminal by the hands of self-serving lawyer
As full moons pass the wicked damage God's gift
the gift of life not recognized nor cherished
The defenseless gifts not loved nor desired
the thieves of life in many forms continue the rampage
God's gifts return to His home eternally loved
no more suffering, hurt, death, darkness nor fear
Due upon God's judgement, the guilty must pay the ultimate fear
an eternity of suffering, hurt, true death and darkness
For this writer, fearful for the lost souls' future,
in constant spiritual warfare knowingly must somehow forgive.

The Lord groomed me for ten years before He revealed to me that I would write my epic poem on the Holy Bible! It takes 5 years to write the first draft and the rewrite an additional two! It is a mammoth undertaking and yet it doesn't feel like work! My Bro Bhaskar helped me to understand the whole process! He wrote blogs regarding my questions and helped me get a grasp on the whole experience! I practice sitting in silence and waiting for the Lord and this helps me see His will for me! It has been an enlightening experience to see the revealing of His plan and the number of people He brought into my life to help me be successful! Among those are Taps and Kabu who literally give me life to continue on each day! sam
