A lawyer who I'd emailed once got my invitation to facebook.
and she represents the other side...SIGH. I have learnt my lesson, never send invitations out from facebook to anyone>>>>>

lol, I only got the one, and promptly told Twitter not to send any more, so I missed the parade.
I may consider it in the future, but I am one of those who already spends way too much time at the computer! Still, I appreciate your explanation here of what Twitter is, because, to me, it is so far just another way to imbed technology in my daily life... I will have to look more closely and sort through which of the many available such things I really want and can use. and dump the rest...

Mal, I haven't caught the twitter bug yet. But, I did get a new G1 phone for my bday. It has a full keyboard and lets me take and send pics. A few times, as I hit the send button, it would just hang there......so I would "send" again.....again. My kid finally texted me...........saying I was a retard texter (Yes, I know that word is not pc, but it's my son's word, not mine.).
