I was afraid that 900 bucks would not be enough.
but you can buy a real nice push mower to mow your 3 1/2 acre yard. Have fun.

I don’t care what the season or what colour the sky is anytime I’ve been in a Home Depot or a Costco there is absolutely no evidence of an economic meltdown. People continue to pile in there in droves. I’m gathering you required far more than $900 to purchase your mower….

Maybe I'm being a bit sexist, but if women were the prime buyers of
lawn tractors, the prices might drop a bit. But, to put it on the other foot, guys would be the deciders on their ladies' shoes.

Every time I go to Lowes, I'm convinced that there is no
economic crisis. It's the busiest place in town! Of course, people may be doing more things themselves -- I know my Beloved and I have ut up four ceiling fans and painted two rooms downstairs because we refuse to pay someone to do it. Thus far the house hasn't burned to the ground....
Lawn tractors are hideously expensive! Good luck on that!

I hear you. Take out a mortgage to buy a mowing sort of thing. Oh well I'll sprinkle wild flower seeds and let it go. :)

I have an (untested) theory about buying stuff like that (untested because my little patch of lawn is mowed by a push- and-pull model, lol), that you ought to buy snow blowers in the spring, and lawn tractors in the fall...

Spring always brings beauty and chores. Last night I went to sleep knowing I had to part with the old ceramic planters on my deck .. in the middle of the night there was a terrible crash outside.. jumping out of bed to look, I discovered a angry racoon had knocked the planters off there surface and crashed them to the ground while desperately trying to reach the birds food.
Looking forward to hearing your thought on the tractor ..

LOL. Son #3 has one of those. He has lots of fun on his acre of ground because the back part has a very high hill and none of the rest of it is very flat. I can't stand to watch him zoom around on it cutting the grass as I'm always afraid he's going to roll it over or something. I cut the whole thing myself for him a couple of times and it was pretty frightening in places.
