I think there will be more discussions down the road! It may be less stressful for Josh but I don't see where this is a boon for your dad at all! Josh should have waited as agreed! October will be interesting to say the least! sam

I know your dad and Josh are/were good friends, but I think it would be hard to live without the back pay, not knowing the whole story of why he owed him the money other than the fact business was bad. Now if you are speaking legal matters, dad could get in trouble for not paying him and Josh could get him for that. Its hard mixing friendship with business.

A good thing about all of this is that you are learning much from each
