- Go to The Salvationists have Earth but claim heaven too!
I can't say I totally agree with you, but it is thought provoking. I like the scripture, "work out your salvation with fear and trembling". I think there is a balance. A christian believing in salvation, should never think of it as a free trip to heaven and then live like hell. I want to live for God in thankfulness.

Thank you all for your reading and comments. I feel that I have done my duty. Awakening is coming...though it requires more pelotas than at any time previous. You will understand!

you said you quoted something or someone but didn't say who or what. And no quotation marks.

Soul
A deeply maditated write, fantastic, in my opinion. The salvo you fired for the understanding of the salvationists right from the first para, and which I have always wanted to ... couldn't have done better. Another point you make is about the Christian belief of the physical resurrection which, indeed, is impossible. A friend of my wife's, earlier her colleague in school, and now a Church lady, a Tamilian convert, visiting Chicago presently, composing and singing hymns in praise of the Lord and thus already 'salvaged', was here last fortnight, and tried to convince me on the physical resurrection issue. I kept smiling knowing full well that it will be futile trying to make a 'pagan' understand. When I quoted her this:
The true meaning of resurrected is to be elevated or raised. It is not about a physical state that we talk here. It is about a level of consciousness that we are talking. This is the reason Paul says “For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either”….1 Cor 15:16. She seemed to be impressed but knowing nothing, changed the topic.

Very thought provolking 101 . You go to extraordinary lenghs to research your writings and put a lot of effort into them... thank you fo that... About your question I wrote it for a friend who I deeply cared about and whose struggle I witnessed, but the feelings I dipped into to write it were those of my first and only love. I don't know how you would have known that but please do not laugh... wether you believe in it or not I do and pain is never good to laugh about.
