Re: Having a face to put with the words

  Taps,

I hope that nobody was disappointed with my real appearance, as opposed to their imagined image of me. Anyway, I don't look like "Jabba the Hut's" ugly brother, at least I hope that I don't! Men see themselves in a mirror and say, "Not too bad for an old codger!" Women look in the mirror and seem only to see flaws! Go figure!

Re: Kinda like onena my Michigan relatives looking....

   Abuelita,

How nice to hear from you, again! I thought that I had offended you, irreparably. You have a handsome relative, living here in Michigan? I'll have to ask my Dad about that! He probably got around a bit in his youth, the handsome devil! My relatives would be well-served with an infusion of your family's genes, I am sure. Thanks for your comment.

Re: You look like George Carlin

  Whacky,

Being a huge fan of George Carlin, I guess that I could do farworse than resembling him. While he was still alive, I mean!

I am glad that nobody said that I look NOTHING like Tom Seleck, we are the same age, anyway. My buddy Dave Bradbury, said that I should be glad that I don't look like the sage in the movie "The Halleluyia Trail." If I am thinking of the same movie, wasn't that part of an American Indian (supposedly) played by George Carlin? I probably have the wrong movie, in mind.

I love having a picture of the person I am reading.  I think it was such a great thing when they started putting pictures of authors on the backs books.  (Yes, I'm old enough that I can remember when they didn't.  LOL)
