Thank you all for your great comments! The FDA and AMA is working for big business...no help there. If you have problems you can try www.dherbs.com. They have very fast acting cures!

Re: Soul/Bhaskar
If I didn't know of the potencies of Indian healing methods, I would debate with you. In my country we used to have healing techniques unavailable elsewhere. The abdominal organs can be prolapsed. Even the testicles can go out of kilter with strain. We had the techniques for health but they are dying out. The west has no idea of these techniques yet they do have alternative healing therapies. Like another blogger said, we have to add what was to what is. Unfortunately, the most fragile of humans have no recourse!

Many civilizations have come and gone, many more will come. To my way of thinking, a civilization reaches its peak and gets decimated. Like, any stupid guy will press a button and everything will go boom. or, for that matter, those excavations in Mohenjodaro in Pakistan that tell us of, I think seven different, dating from 7000 to about 17000 years ago. They disappeared. So our movement in time is not linear, and therefore not necessarily an advancement. Many of the recent scientific discoveries are only an distant echo of the Vedic knowledge. Not a single conclusion of theirs have until now proved wrong, the Day of Brahma equivalent to sun's life, or cow dung being an antesceptic, the thirty-six odors of a cow and all heath-giving etc. So, although I agree with you that modern sciences are relevant for today, it cannot be outrightly said that they were not there in the past. In Ayurveda, these knowledges are
sashwatha truths, and we know that they did a remarkable job on
Shalya chikitsa, surgery. An absorbing write, as always.

I know the lesson's of the bible well and yet it's been nessasary to contemplate the messages within my own human brain because they are complex and don't alway's serve me in my efforts to lead a spiritual life on my jorney toward God. Life is a great and difficult task to undertake and it's my belief that one must make use of their brain to sort the good of the soul from all the evil disguised as good. Great Post!

Limitations of holy books.....
...
History always repeats itself and this is why we are to know The Word inside and out so we don't need the book itself.
One day they will be taken away from us and we are to be
walking Bibles. We must get ready. What we learn is the
only thing that can not be taken from us. Good Post.
