Having read the next post first, I
know what kind of snake it was. But also, that your shock was even greater than had it been a
real one, and
why...

A snake in the kitchen, even in someone's hand, is very much
a jump start. I was wandering solambulically(is that a word)down one of our walking trails the other day and almost stepped on what looked like an anaconda. Okay, it was a rat snake, and it was only four feet long, but crack cocaine couldn't have put the whammy on a nervous system like that did.
I don't mind them, as long as I see them in time....

Uh oh, I guess I better not laugh..how bout a smile.

Snakes are okay as long as they're not poisonous, or big, uh or long. LOL! But dogs and snakes with coffee in the morning, that's just not right. LOL! I love your stories.

Yikes!
I like snakes as well as anyone does, but I like them out there somewhere, doing their snaky business away from prying eyes.
