You are right in one thing: browsing is addictive and leads from one idea to the next. Why not a geo blog? Our planet is fascinating and it's all in the way of presenting things to avoid boredom. I'm sure you will never be boring.

A Geography blog could be a nice blog if approached right. It could DEFINITELY be colorful (which actually matters). Just keep in mind to keep the entries in bite-size morsels.

Geography and I just don't get along. I aced all my classes at school, bar for that one. I never could grasp all that stuff on different types of hills and land formations. I think too though, I had the world's worst geography teacher!

I am always astounded by the number of earthquakes on the maps 214 in a week! Alaska and California are getting lots!
