You've left me with a tear in my eye. I sincerely appreciate your touching story and thank you for sharing with me. My brother was also killed in 1968. The moment you and your sister unfolded and flew your special flag was also a moment in time that honored your brother. God Bless Our Troops!!

That is quite a story, and TAPS is a wonderful song. I always cry when it is played by a bugle. It takes me back to my brother's funeral in 1965 with the Flag covering the coffin,
TAPS being played, and the 21 gun salute. That folded flag that was given to my Mom & Dad was never unfolded from its triangle until 9/11. My sister and I unfolded it and hung it in front of the front porch when the shock allowed us to remember that we had it.
