Bravo!!!
Excellently written, and so stunningly wise to laud the moderates who approach the world with kindness and compassion rather than the fire of the extremists.

At this point, I shall pray for & bless both...
Bhaskar & Naut to find it within their hearts & minds to do whatever it is that will serve a greater purpose, and move on to putting their immense talents to serving a greater purpose, than satisfaction of their own individual egos!

Ash and Sinome
My heartfelt thanks to both of you dear ones to whom I shall always remain grateful. To be taking a stand in the face of a nasty tornado requires great strength of character. Thanxamillion from the depths of my

, although I wonder whether I have one now.

Beautiful poem Ash... and I aplaud your efforts to extinguish this freakish wild fire... To be honest I think its all a big waste of time. Naut did not mean to insult Bhaskar and Bhaskar did not mean to cheat anyone. They are both great writers whose abilities would be better put to use by WRITING instead of arguing with each other. Blogit is a very relaxed medium, I feel its almost like a big family or group of close friends... In such ambiance one is not required to be extra formal in one's presentation... so its understandable if in the rush to inform others, someone forgets to cite where the information he is given was taken from. Perhaps that would be a terrible thing if it were for a published paper but even though in a sense stuff here is "published", it is meant to be shared among us alone... so... who cares??? On the other hand... I guess whoever wrote it in the first place would care... :-) but since there was no malice of intent, forgiveness should be easy to obtain. Naut is also in the right for rules are rules and those rules are what protect everything we write from being snatched from us. Like I said... they both should agree to disagree and go on delighting us with their obvious talents and stop making me sad :-( I feel like a child of divorce... torn between two people I deeply admire.

Respected Dear Sirs Bhaskar & Naut,
I've read over & over again both of yours recent blogs and all the reader comments to this minute. Dear Corbin & Rumor's perceptive comments on this post of mine "Backbone" made me really take an impersonal, non-judgmental look again at how this whole thing evolved, not just in the last two days, but over the last couple of years. I am no psychologist, but here are my thoughts:
This is a case of honest "miscommunication" between two highly intelligent gentlemen, well-accomplished in their respective yet different professions, well-meaning in their own ways, that would never intentionally harm / hurt / insult another soul.
Yet they are still subject to irrational human thinking errors, especially when pressed for time. Please allow me to submit my observation that common thinking errors, namely, "Jumping to conclusions", "Overgeneralization", "Personalization", "Namecalling", were made by both sides.
I humbly request both of you gentlemen to take a couple of days of "time-out", take a fresh look, and see if you concur now. If you do, it might be healing for us all if you post a joint-statement of resolution as mature gentlemen.
Both of yours knowledge & wisdom is far too great for either of you to leave this site, as amply evidenced by your large, caring readership.
Best wishes,

ash, a great poem that reminded me of how resilient palm trees are..they
bend right over but very seldom actually snap...we need that kind of resilience in our lives...

Re: Re: Re: Corbin...
The post is universally applicable..still, I don't have any problem with your opinions expressed here. I do hope & pray for peace, lofty goals can still be worth pursuing & can be achieved, but you are right that ignoring reality is unwise.

Re: Re: Corbin...
I didn't read the post as applying to blogit......Then I saw your comment referencing as such..... As to blogit, I don't see this as a personal conflict.....but rather an interpretation of rules. The only challenge is for the powers that be, if brought into it, to rule on whether there has been a violation.
I have a problem with it being personalized.......because of that, being "liked" does come into play......
Peace is a lofty goal....dependent upon the sincerity and honesty of both sides involved....a rare thing in this world of ours.
