Liked how you told just a little bit of the story---moved it forward just a bit--and gave everybody a reason to come back to the train.  Nice job!

I love this dialog between mother and daughter. Very believable.
But then I was believing this mother all along -- she does so many things that seem not fictional to me. Write on!
