- Go to Be Still In Your Heart Come The Words From A Friend & Hyacinths
You don't have to share your love of hyacinths with me:) I grew some from bulbs myself, when I was home in England for the past year, enjoyed them indoors and when they were done, put them in the garden. I must go and check on them sometime soon...

Well I certainly could wrap my mind around all of that straightforward writing. Of course you have to sue the newspaper that stole your writing, no question.
All of what you had to say about plagiarism is spot on of course and for me, if I knew this person and saw him all the time face to face I would be more verbally expressive than I am here in Blogit.
I love the thought of the roses for your mother,

and I wish I could smell the hyacinth's.

One hears more and more about plagiarism online now.
In the old days, when yo had to go through a publisher to physically print stuff, it may ahve been a little harder to pass one's work off as original when it was not. Now, I think not only is it too technically easy, but the frenetic pace when trying to make a buck online requires more effort than most folks can muster for non-wage earning work (i.e., taking a risk).
And as for morality and ethics....
"Phaaaf" as the Colonel used to say.

I love the idea of blogging with beautiful flowers nearby,
Avatars are a new thing with me -- my granddaughter introduced me to the concept of setting up that facade online. I tend to generalize, which isn't always useful, and can't help believing most people are basically like me, well-meaning in the end. I like the way you say things, Azur, esp. this about plagiarism. It's a simple statement as you put it, and not finger pointing. And what Taps said goes for me, too.

Great post, Azur. One of the best on the subject of the plagiarism and problems caused by it.
