There are many types of abuses. It seems those who are intent upon abuse know instinctively what our weaknesses are and use us with such skill we are all beaten up before we know we weren't valuable to them.
Always spin before that mirror or a blank wall assesing how beautiful you are inside and out. Just know it.

So many of us are slow to see the abuse we suffer thinking we made a bed and should honor the vows that obviously were not reciprocated. My sympathy from doing the same thing too! Painful passages in decisions.

It's amazing what we note, after-the-fact, on disecting relationships. Too bad we don't have the foresight, or the desire, to do so before we become so involved. C'est la vie
