It is a difficult situation! I have a son who lives a great distance from and is in the military! Whatever the situation, it is not easy! I would choose to be near my son as well! Medical would be another factor, too! Hang in there, it will all work out and be okay! sam

Separation from family would be a hard one for me if I were in your situation.
