This is so sad and unfair---I hope justice prevails. Thank you ever so much for your kind and supportive response to my post; please do keep Ashish in your prayers---I believe that is the only thing that will work. Nita.

The American film Back to the Future 1 spoofs the system that’s fairly rehabilitates teen bullies. The high schoolm bully Biff’s the supervisor of the teenager Marty’s father.  In real life bullies go on to college and enter the system, becoming administrators in various fields. They can come up with practices such as the arrest of an innocent woman. But rehabilitation’s good if the application of the adult bullies’ new values are taught. BCA, BillJRoost

How sad, I believe that we have lostthe plot Children need boundaries
for their self worth and security feelings. These bullies will end being punished as adults now and will probably continue to bully others all their lives and what can happen to this teacher is horrible.

Smileycons!  This is indeed a sad situation. You have done what you could and I'm sure that H knows you will be there when needed.

Yes, this is a sad state of affairs and I'm sure she is totally devastated. I hope she is able to get back to teaching again. Thank you for reading me and leaving your kind comment.

rector, I wasn't aware of your posting today, so just in case my humor blog

is in poor taste as a result, I apologize....believe me, I know what bullying is about as I can remeber it being active even when I was in grade school...now it is just so much meaner...

again, if my humor blog is not so "humorous" to you today, I apologize....

Shocking story
I know my wife - who teaches ballet to children from ages 2 - 18 - has to be very very careful what she says and also not to shout; she doesn't have many bullies in the class but there are plenty among the parents who line up outside the door

That's a terrible account of where we all have arrived at. A place where common sense, lack of discipline and justice have no place in our societies anymore. Personally I think it's how the culture of drug use has ruined society, and we citizens are not able to control anything anymore. Good post Rev.

Very, very disturbing. I feel for the lady and certainly hope that
sanity will prevail and justice done!

This is insane
Surely the CPS should be proving the red marks match her hand print and not the boy's?  And whatever happened to prosecuting for perjury? I think it is coming to a stage where bullies will be dealt with my masked and hooded vigilantes because that is the only avenue left open to the rest of us.

My goodness! I have never heard of such a thing! Guilty until proven innocent by bullies! Indeed, what is the world coming to! My nephew was just harassed by a bully and ended up with three broken bones and there will be no prosecution because they cannot prove intent to harm! I say, when you jump on someone you intend harm or you would not touch their person in such a forceful way! I shall pray that justice prevails in this matter! sam

One has to be oh so careful how they deal with others.
What would have been best in this case?  Should the mother have called the police in as soon as her child was injured by the bully instead of going there herself?

Re: That is extremely distressing
Yes, he has an ASBO against him and has previously done something similar to another teacher. but none of that can be taken into account! each case - apparently - must be decided separately. Also known by all the kids as a bully.

What a terrible situation for the poor woman! I do hope that other people have also got the courage to back her up.

That is extremely distressing
Dare I say it  but this is a time when the reputation of the bully requires publicity. A case needs to be built against him. Not just for H. but because he is very likely to do worse to others. Have their been other incidents reported about him to police and in the media?
