- Go to Another Rejection and Possible Alternatives
It's good to hear that even through all this, there are plenty of other options still to be checked out.

Stay strong...

We just got and advertisement from State Farm Insurance. They want to lend
us money. Apparently they are a bank, too, now. Check 'em out.
Oh yes. I wanted to do an experiment with emoticons:

What a worrying time for you all. But the recession seems to be coming to an end - her in the UK at any rate - so it's about time the banks started lending again.

If only you made........
cars or provided mortgages....then the Government we be coming to you. I am sorry to read these episodes on bumpy times.....Your family should be praised for working in the system to continue to achieve......Just like you, 2009 is going to be a much better year than last year for my business.....the banks need to see that when reviewing things.....but credit is going to get harder to find instead of easing, like we were promised by our "fearless leader".........

It's all so uncertain and there are so many factors involved. My, my you have a complicated situation here. I know that in the past, banks would have looked at the integrity your father has shown by never missing a payment and happily refinanced him. With the blasted state of the economy, they are unfortunately taking the risks into account more than ever now. I hope everything works out for the best!

This is really difficult for you all! Here's hoping that you find a sympathetic and willing banker. Your father is a very lucky man to have a son like you.

Trying times, for sure, but as “texture”said your optimism is surely helping your dad keep a positive perspective.

Your Dad
is right to be optimistic. As my Granddad used to say 'when one door closes, another one opens." I really hope you manage to find a solution soon

This is very interesting. There is always an option in the mix. Your perspective will help him find it.
