Kudos for posting examples from "The Devil's Dictionary."
I've been recommending Bierce to anyone who will listen for years. You can find the complete text at Project Gutenberg. I also highly recommend his classic short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge," also available at Project Gutenberg. Both are oft imitated seminal works in American literature.

There's a little twist in that Devil's dictionary. I'm not interested in Twitter and I guess I've got enough I'm still figuring out when it comes to communication on line.

I ain't gonna start twittering any time soon, although I too have been invited numerous times. As far as I am concerned, it's strictly for the birds...But I like the devil's dictionary...

Entertaining indeed. I am not using any of these twitter and what have you stuff. I'm happy with blogit and my articles. Good morning, by the way, and, as you can see, I can still find my computer.
