Glad the weather is improving! My son uses only Linux, and says it's far superior to any other OS! Thanks for your kind comment on my post. Nita.

I warn you sweetheart, when you dare to venture back into the salon
your hairdresser won't say much but you will definitely get the look.I tried cutting my hair once only. That stare terrified me into good behaviour for the rest of my days. LOL

Haircuts.
As Taps pointed out, self hairstyling is "never done" completely the first time. It takes me a few days to get all the kinks worked out. I think that one of those electric razors for haircutting is probably the best way to go because you can put a head on it that will cut all the hair at the same length, provided you hold it properly. I bought one that came with an instruction video. Someday I will have the guts to actually use it -- especially if I take up a daily swimming routine again....

A Nice Visit
I enjoyed a nice visit to "a day in the life" of a Brit who's into tennis..... The fireworks have just started in our neighborhood, though....

Glad to hear your heatwave is nearly over; we usually inherit British weather, so there's relief in store for us too.

A shame
that it's all over for Murray for this year but I do think he will have his day at Wimbledon and what an improvement from last year? We hoped with Henman but I think we can look to believe in Murray

I hope your guy wins... or has won by now!

Everything you wrote about here was interesting, but I especially loved the thought of ladies stealing sly double glances at your home-haircut.  HAHAHA
The reason I enjoyed that is because I often get provoked with unmanageable hair and grab the shears and start cutting mine.  I'm never satisfied with what I just did.

Rocking
A computer techie, a barber, and a pastor (or priest – sorry if I have your title wrong)!  Isn’t it odd that it takes a funeral to learn so much about someone….

In my heart I am rooting for Murray; but, Roddick played in my town for the now defunct Idaho Sneakers! I would get tarred and feathered and run out of town if I didn't vocalize my support for him! Go Murray!

has it really been so long since a Britt won at Wimbledon?
We really aren't that good at tennis are we?

I hope you remembered to get your strawberries too!
