Lovely poem with a lot of truth to it. I love these two lines
Is there no one who is real? Have we all truly ceased to feel? Great poem
thanks for sharing.

Very good....!
A thoughtful, feeling poem.
I do not feel as frustrated as you do though, because I think that while your poetic license is fine and your point is made, in reality there are a LOT of really caring people.
There are also truly altruistic people and Christian acts of love, as well as all kinds of goodness done by people in other religions...even by secular atheists!
Moreover, if you are a Christian anyway, the fact that there are horrors all around us ought to be (and is) clearly understood by spiritually mature Christians, but this reality, we are taught, is not to stand in our way and doing good, being good, setting an example, having faith, hope and courage.
As Christians we are to listen to Jesus' teaching, and not allow this world's horrors drag us down to the point where we believe in those, more than we believe in Him and his example. We can also learn to receive the power from Him to be the agents of goodness through prayer, meditation and contemplation, and by keeping our eyes on beauty.
So, cheer up!
