Positive feedback is always good...suggestions are helpful too. I think a good teacher does possess a multitude of talents.

I get nervous

too speaking in front of people.

With all the stories about how students mistreat teachers, becoming a
teacher is a scary idea, anyway. We had a new teacher in English who was stacked very well and she couldn't take the one joker in our class who commented on that frequently in class. She went back to being an airline stewardess although I thought she was a good teacher. That one guy used to bug me, too. I like to think he was mentally challenged and so tried to make up for it by beating down everybody else. He's the main reason I didn't go to our class reunion. I figured I'd hate seeing him.

Education courses are a mystery to me.
I only took one from the Education Department, on exceptional children, and it was difficult.

She certainly was right about the importance of boredom vs enthusiasm. Students intuit that immediately and follow suit.

I totally agree with you! It is all about how we choose to accept the words! From what you said, I believe it was a positive and meant to further instruct! sam

I think you had the courage
to at least try. I'm sure everyone is nervous in that situation but some just hide it better
