So touching, your poem is the heartbeat for all  who sacrifice for their families sake, duty and discipline. this is love. It's got to be painful......  On that other note, I wonder what she sings on his birthday now. LOL! Just kidding.

Sad scene with no one to visit . The old people in hospital are somewhat the same.

..At one time in my life I worked with refugees in a 'foreign land.' And it was just like you wrote.

I've known so many people who have come to the US, foreign to the language and the culture, unable to work at their chosen professions because things are so different.  As a nurse, I have supervised people who work as assistants when they could do so much more and often they are very unhappy.
