That is so inviting
and really made me sit up. I've read it several times and it really is very compelling and evocative of that peculiar mood that trees and dusk and nightfall bring.

Thie poem is excellent from the first word
but the last two lines were unrestrained brilliance for me and took this poem from memorable to mind blowing. Bravo!!!

sheer music but without a score or a melody….These words brought the sound of the leaves to life for me. And there’s nothing like hearing the sound of “raw life”! Loved the mood this piece invoked…..
