- Go to Mitochondrial Eve - is a scientific term
TAPS. - I don't remember ever saying that I liked to lure in fundies
I have said things such as I have no problem clubbing them over the head with their own nonsense but I only invite such people into debate to the extent that we all do by posting our religious opinions.
I hear what you are saying about watching one's self, I seem to refrain from saying anything more than I comment some days.

I'm sorry then, gomedome. I was thinking that somewhere along the way in recent history that you had said that you liked to lure in fundies to the debate. I'm afraid that I do have a tendency to now and then be a bit unfair with my words. It's a fault I've always had to fight in myself. As to your last question, I just don't know why people insist on arguing this science with Bible quotes. I have to watch myself like a hawk and keep myself in control because it's so fun to do.

TAPS. - that is a little unfair, it is not a baited trap
Nor is the question posed entirely rhetorical.

I understand that your last question is rhetorical, but I think that it is humorous that a self-proclaimed barely-understanding-human-genetics person is not only the one to ask it, but also the one most likely to argue the science with anyone who falls into the baited trap.
