Looks like I'm in the clear... officially
The Wedding Channel website is mecca for almost every bride I know, and they say:
Wearing black: the long standing tradition of ladies not wearing black to a wedding has been overturned. Today, even the bridesmaids might be outfitted in black. Just make sure you don't look like you're attending a funeral. Consider accessorizing that little black dress with a brightly colored scarf or blazer.
Yay! and thanks, isIS

The rules are open to interpretation these days. I love that you decided to accessorize the dress with colors. That seems the best way not to look "funereal". One suggestion -- and this is just my style, by no means for all -- would be to pick an accessory that somewhat sets off the lavender. Like an orange or jade green bracelet. That way you're not all matchy-matchy, and you don't look like one of the bridal party.
Good luck!
