Ash Pradhan...
I just wrote a poem called An Ego Party! I think you would like it...
http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Raphael222/
Here is the beginning to start you off:
Come to a loving reception,
Come dressed to kill.
Brighten your hair,
Perfume your charms,
Hold delicate bracelets
On elegant arms.
Smile with delight,
Your teeth so white.
Bring your books,
Bring your looks,
Bring your thoughts,
And opinions too.
This party’s for Ego
Yes, this party’s for you.
Healthy Egos
In reds, blues and yellows,
Fill the room,
Drinking wine -
Blushing,
Having a fine
Old time.

Re: Earth’s celestial insignificance....?
Raphael, by all means, let us love our Mother Earth for sure, but not our egos :)! - Ash

Earth’s celestial insignificance....?
I know where you are coming from, but I believe Earth is no more insignificant or significant than anything else in God's marvelous universe.
Certainly for humans it is pretty significant. There is nothing wrong with that, is there?

Re: Calia...
The first book is named "Cosmic Reflections", which is the theme of the book. The first poem is "Spaceship". The finale is "Sitting Quiet". In all, the book will have 101 poems related to the theme. The second book is named "Rhytms of the Heart". How is yours coming? - Ash

Re: merkie
What are you thinking of naming your book, Ash? This should definitely be one of the first poems in it!

People could get so much farther ahead if the ego was checked at the door so to speak! sam
