What a fantastic depiction! You are very right it is a dying breed! I think those who work to the sheen of glistening bodies are the best the world has to offer! It will be a shame when it is no more for in it we may lose all humbleness! Fantastic poem! sam

"In this hardened life, men singing their songs

In the early morn of the simple ways

Is a dying breed in time to come." A beauty in living . So sad to see this joy of life passing away.

I too liked the rhythm of this poem, the descriptions of the simple life style and the allusion to that all religions preach good as opposed to evil. Thanks for your visit.

Lovely, rhythmical imagery of village life based around the work of fishing. Thank you.
