Sad. It is hard to see the pain past the addiction. So good for you to be there for her son and share your silent prayers!

This is a very sad story for all parties concerned, including the woman who died. We can't walk in the mind of an addict. I see so many weekly. They are such sad beings. I am thankful the son did not pick up the same pattern. I am sorry about his marriage. Marriages can be saved even after such as that. God bless him and you.

You are such a dear person and your silent thoughts were really
appropriate. How sadsome lives are but what a lovely son to love her regardless.I can think of a couple of young men who could have been more like him.

It had to make her son feel good! Wow! To pass away and not have many to mourn! A tough existence! I like how you silently did the right thing! It is a comfort! sam
