Sounds like a terrific book. Writing a journal can be so therapeutic in so many walks of life (which me be why we all love Blogit so much!)

Students are easily discouraged and I feel no student should be written off especially using foul language!

Every child has their own talent
and the best teachers never forget this by taking the easy routes, I think?

No child should ever be considered a lost cause.  Any teacher who feels that way about a student should re-evaluate their calling.

It sounds an extremely interesting way of motivating students. Do you think it is absolutely necessary to be idealistic to be a good teacher?
