TAPS,
Oh wow, I do the same thing, whispering to each of them that they're my favorites but "don't tell your brothers". I love quinky dinks.

Your writing really is lovely to read. Isn't it fun comparing, contrasting our children? I love all three of my boys fiercely, but like you, just differently.

they both sound terrific and it sounds as though Jacob is very sensitive, too. Great to have a superb family like that, especially with a sense of humour!

Totally relate my friend
my boys are total opposites and I agree - the deep love I feel for them is the same but different; yes that sounds weird but it's true! Many blessings and thanks

Maybe that's a record, getting the police involved in his first day!
Took Charlie a little longer last year--I blogged it in the Ciel Show, especially laughing over his comment, "When stuff like this happens, the weird thing is that my first thought is--
I can hardly wait to tell Mom & Dad...!"

Great post. I love your boys just from reading you. It seems that no matter how many one has, they are all different and you love all of them differently. Four was/is lots of fun and lots of work. I don't think I've ever heard, "You loved so and so best." When they were little, I whispered to each, "I love you best, but don't tell your brothers." LOL
