Sinome
How beautiful; "that life is just a quest,
a search for the way to the place
where we will finally rest.."

you have the true heart of a poet. Something so simple has led to such
a beautiful creation as this poem.

Sinome
I loved the royal passage. She dressed herself in golden beauty for her rest. She is aware she is going to an eternal resting place of regal festivities due the best look she can muster.

There are so many wonderful lessons we can learn from bits of nature if we are open to it.  You have used one of my favorite things, an autumn leaf, to give us great pleasure with your great writing style.

You see so much where others would just see a falling leaf. Fantastic!

Sinome
Truly magnificent! Fantastic!! Even a leaf of the Tree of Life has so much to teach mankind. And the lesson you taught just now is awesome. Well done!

Sinome ~.~
Great piece! Stunning imagery...and the thought of a simple falling leaf having the answer to such a deep question is profound. Thanks for sharing. Peace, blessings and understanding.SS

Sinome, your poem reminds me of a chapter in Felix Salten's, "Bambi",
in which two or three leaves left on a tree are discussing where they will go once the wind plucks them free...it is very metaphorical, just like your poem, and very touching.....

Nice metaphorical poem.

God Bless!

Awesome imagery in sweet repose! Astonishing imagery, too! I love that you lived in Seattle! I was impressed with so many things! My son and I took mass transit  just to get a feel for the people! It was a fun experience! We hustled to get change for the bus and we didn't need but we were able to make change for a young girl so she could get on! I love the Jimi Hendrix museum! It was was so awesome to see the coat he always wore and hanging out on Pike Street like he did as well as 1st and Union! Love you! sammie xoxoxoxxo
