It is worth doing anything that brings out the passion in you because once you get through those glitches in most cases your gain the mastery over and out the outcome is heaven. Is your son on any particular websites for musicians yet? I'm so excited for him and if he isn't I know of a few places he can start with that he will probably love.

with the music software...the only thing I do is voicing and singing right now which doesn't require any particular formatting except for how it is submitted but that's interesting what type of formatting and software is needed for screenwriting BC-A?

Darling... your work is unique as you are and you will find your niche in the music world on time... It is a very new idea... but one that has been there always. Since man ( or woman:-)) wrote the first verse ... music to the ear was a big component of it... even free verse has music, cadence... and the fact that you want to blend it to musical notes is nouveau but exciting. Good luck with that and with your writing...
