SpitFire and Abuelita

Gramma doesn't want surgery because she would rather let the rest of her life take its own course.  She's 77 years young and feels she has lived a full life.

SpitFire, on the odd chance that she changes her mind about surgery, I'll get in touch with you for more info.

Benz, thank you so much for your words.  They do comfort my heart!

Jemmie, we Abuelitas are hard headed and difficult to control.
After going through certain life saving procedures, we grow tired of recovery and all that this means. We also know when we are ready to rest in peace. I don't know her age, but it is her body and life and though you need her for another twenty years, she may have taught and loved you all that is humanly possible in her lifetime. I feel for you and wish that all this weren't so, but sometimes, with elderly relatives who are reluctant to keep up the Good Fight, we have to learn the acceptance of a new agony, their loss, their passing away. Praying for us all.

Hey, Jem...
I'll be praying for your Gram! I hope she's okay. Why is it that she doesn't want surgery? Thinks she may not come out of it alive? If that's the case, inusure her that she WILL come out. (I'll tell you why in a personal email if you want.)  Just make sure she doesn't have ANY important medical treatments or ANY surgery on a day of a full moon. The best days to do it would be during the waxing moon or new moon. Also, don't let her have any treatment (involving blood/ or possible blood loss) or surgery on a day in which the SUN is in her birth MOON sign. If you don't have the exact info for her, let me know and I'll research her birthday, place and time of birth and tell you exactly what days are the most successful, K? Good luck my friend.
