Loved the "She returns hand in hand with the warm breeze" - I can picture it! Imagery is great!

The deep freeze is here! I predict a very short interlude before spring!

The leaves are turning here already, earlier than usual.
I love this time of year.

Almost gone but not quite... certainly the evenings are telling the story of a new season looming. I'm in Osoyoos today and 29 degrees is expected so I'll still be thinking "summer". Lovely piece, Merkie!

Excellent poem! She is almost gone, only a few precious days remain! However, one would not know that in my continuing desert heat! Have a marvelous day! sam/Shelly

Seasons in September
I tell time by sunlight as the sun rises and sets. I love how its intensity and daylight length changes with the seasons love. Now the chrysanthemums begin blooming in the gardens naturally. I had a wide one of a beautiful shade of lavender large flowers that bloomed from late September to Thanksgiving every year. It’s a great poem that gets the reader going love. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

So nicely done! I love summer, although I'm neither very active nor sports-minded; but it does give me a peace I so long for all winter. Thanks for sharing. Peace, blessings and understanding.
