Yes, sounds to me like a good strategy for selling your book; good luck!

Re:cheap publicity for Nautikos
Thank you for your comment. If the goal was attracting a record number of clicks it certainly worked; approximately 1,000,000 in just a few days. However even if the ends justify the means, it seems to me that they were not really clear in their own minds about the 'ends'; did they want to promote Denmark's beautiful scenery and tourist attractions or did they want to attract sex tourists?

Thanks for the info!  I think that I will go my own way to get publicity and give away bookmarks featuring my book cover and the time of my first signing.  I will give a bunch to the local schools, libraries, and maybe even some businesses.  They cost about 10 cents apiece to make.  If I can sell one book it will pay for 112 of them.  Hopefully it will pay off.  What do you think?

Granted, it's under-handed and somewhat bizarre, but if it garnered that many hits, it has in some sense also been a success. And these people certainly judged the public correctly...

Elinjo - Well to use a child as well for the publicity ... these days anything goes, I guess.

Wow... that was travesty on top of travesty.  How many-layered corruption can become.

Hmmm... strange "gimmick".  Can see why they took it down.

It's sad...there are many advertisements these days that stretch the truth. It's good they removed it.And you have yourself a fine Monday too Elinjo.

I tried again and got it this time.  Beautiful picture, but I can't imagine a Tourist Bureau advertising in this way.  Shameful!

That must be a busy link.  I couldn't get through.

Re: She's a lovely girl, and the baby's cute, too.
You're right Pat, the cunning bx5sx#s! They've just announced, that they are going to remove the video from YouTube; and I should think so too!  There's been a public outrage about the video.

She's a lovely girl, and the baby's cute, too.
It's sad but true there's not a whole lot of truth in advertising, but they get twice the bang for their advertising buck in this case. Revealing the game is sure to generate more hits.

All that glitters is not gold.
I believe the rock group Led Zeppelin thought "all that glitters IS gold". Shakespeare, a man ahead of his time. Great post, as usual Betty.
