Soul Builder
OK I'll do that. This summer God has blessed me with a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and I am trying to make better choices. I love curry & herbs in cooking. I also like garlic, ginger, cayenne, olive oil. I love Jicama and in Mexico ate it a lot. It's quite expensive here. We also just joined a Co-op where I can get alot of foods for less, staples like rice, beans ... and more.
I DO NOT like green bananas , only the really ripe ones. I still eat meat, but only about 1 or 2 x a week.
Thanks for the advice and I will do that google search soon. Mariposa

Re: Re: Soul Builder
Put alkaline foods in google and voila...you get a zillion entries. I stay away from starches and meats. I use a lot of peppers, green bananas, cucumbers, plum tomatoes, cauliflower, watercress, cabbage, pumpkins and squash, and all greens and fruits I can find. I use a lot of curry and seasonings and herbs in cooking. I use italian seasoning plus recaito, onions, garlic, ginger, cayenne(molido), olive oil etc. I grate peeled cucumbers, add seasalt and seasoning and make a tasty side dish. Once you have a list of alkaline foods you can experiment. Jicama is very alkaline and can be eaten raw. When you stop having heartburn and constipation....you know your alkaline diet is working. Eating sprouts gives you enzymes. Juicing things like apples, beets and celery adds to your wellbeing! First do the switch and feel good. Then add ginseng to make you feel lively! Multi-vitamins, Irish Moss, Kelp and almonds should be part of your diet. First get a list then proceed. Substitute Teff, quinoa, spelt, amaranth etc for wheat. Corn is too starchy! There is also black rice and wild rice to replace the common rice!

will bring it to you (and me, and anyone who asks)...relax, think of yourself resting in His arms...like a loving father would for any child..
