I would like to think that we are getting better as time forges onward.

Sinome
I think perfection is a myth, but a necessary one, speaking of that which is always just beyond our reach, but making us reach...

Perfect?  No!  But, even with the bitter cold of winter and the blazing heat of summer, I love the seasons--all of them.  As one progresses into another I joy that I'm still here for the advent of the next.

Ponderous and Poignant...I know I'm imperfect yet enjoy attaining each step...I recall in a chemistry/biology lecture one time a professor speaking of how when a cell perfects itself it dies...Oy!  I think that was the exact moment I quit this particular class - thinking I would not want to perfect myself, in order to continue living...  ~ Life is good and I love simple! and so enjoy your poetry, Sinome ~ Elyse

Wonderful
Your poetry is always gorgeous, but this is more so that ever.  I personally believe that perfection is an idea that we all pursue and hope never to attain.

Thank goodness for the constants in life! I thought this was splendid for in it is a great lesson of change and its acceptance to be a complement to those things that are constant in our lives! Love this one, Sweetie! Love you, too! sammie xoxoxo
