I am glad things are working out for your Dad's business. You should all be a little relieved. Don't eat too much junk food at once!

Changing banks.
Sometimes it is necessary to change banks. I remember a new bank once that gave me loans when the other big banks in town would not because my parents did not live in this town. The other banks seemed to only do business with young people whose parents live in town. I'm still mad at two banks for being that way. I'd had loans in other towns with my husband, so it didn't make sense to me, but then, each person and each bank has to look to their own bottom line, as they say....

Former Student Intern
As a father of a lot of children, I wouldn't be happy knowing my business was being discussed so much in a blogging site even if people didn't know who I was. But, you write well. The old man

You seem to take everything in stride without becoming unduly upset over it. That is a good attitude to adopt. Stress can really work ill on a person's health if they let it.
