Working on writing a book. I'm making good headway. As far as feeling thwarted, no, I do not feel that.

Amazing what happens to us.
I came to a land of winter wonderland for love of our dear Wiley and then I went off back to the Australian  winter to be with my son and Grandchildren. Love just alters our lives and like you I wouldn't change a thing.

Have you planned for the dragon?  If, that is, you live near one.

Re: That's why California's climate and geography are so great.
Just looked up Californian population in 2008. All in all 36,756,666. That's more than 7 times the population of Denmark. That's what I'd call a crowd.

That's why California's climate and geography are so great.
We have it all, plus way too many people.

I had second thoughts about moving where I live, but
so far it's been great.

Re: Lustorlove snow.
Lustorlove, watch the following! That's what snow is also like  ! That's why I used to look forward to becoming a swallow.

My life is nothing what I was wanting, and I am sure if anyone was living it they would agree.  When I retired I was so relieved to be away from that place I was so excited and then all hell broke lose and its not the same.  But I am here in CA where it does stay nice most the time so the weather isnt a issue, I would like to see some snow.

In Miami you would be welcome to the United States. I can’t get over how much involvement in terms of activity and relationships that you find in your, um, excuse my block in foreign languages, language club. I do find it interesting. Excellent love! BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

My plans are still being planned.
Writing is where I want to head. I would really like to live out my years writing stories for people to enjoy. For the last four years, I have been tapping at the keyboard and coming up with different fiction stories, opinions and humorous tales. While these writings are probably not publishing material, the thrill of writing keeps me going. Since joining Blogit, I have met some wonderful writers - like yourself, Betty - who have inspired me to keep these fingers of mine dancing on the keyboard and I thank you all. I sincerely hope my dream to be a writer is not dashed. Once again, thank you Betty, Shelley and others.

Re: Shelly
It'll probably happen one of these days, Shelly. My daughter was into dogs for many years and she always used to tell me that they were the only grandchildren I'd ever have. Then one fine day she said: 'Guess what I'm pregnant!

I made plans, too! But, as with you, they didn't materialize but somehow it doesn't matter for I am quite content! I am still waiting to be a grandma! They get close to the altar and then before I know it, it's over! One day I'm sure! I think it is most important to learn new things and stay active and I must say you do that very well! Shelly

Re: Shell b: I'll never be a grandmother since I don't have kids
Even without grandchildren life would also be more than worthwhile living. Thanks for visiting

Betty, I have come to believe that whatever happens is for the best, even if plans don't materialize...it's only later that we realize and accept the blessings! Thanks very much for the note! Things are ok here in Bangalore; will get back to you in detail soon! Nita.

I'll never be a grandmother since I don't have kids
but I hope I'm active and involved when I'm ready for the senior citizen life style!
