You must live FAR south of Lower Michigan, my friend!
Maj,
Here at Sagehaven, we only had two single days, weeks apart (!) of 90 degree heat, this summer. There were extended stretches without rain, but it was a glorious, comfortable, season all in all. This is unusual, because it is a lot more common to be forced to endure weeks of unrelenting heat, during most summers. I cannot even imagine living in the deep south, being sequestered indoors hugging the air-conditioner, all summer long. We however, must spend the whole winter indoors, hugging the woodstove, so I guess that everything is a trade-off.

I enjoyed your description of time. Your writing gave me the eerie feeling I always get in the fall when the winds kicks up and things start to die off. Very good.

Earlier this morning I read that the bees are dying. The photo looks like a cute honeybee. I did see them in September. You wrote that they die off for the good of the hive. All in all October's an interesting month love. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst
