I see you've taken some of Ms. McLain's philosophy to heart -- very good descriptions, the hospital procedures and setups are very believable. I'm asking myself if this is fiction or memory...

I’ve been there. Fortunately, I only needed the anesthesia. The prescription pain killer made me vomit. Thank God that I really didn’t need it. I’m sorry and get well. Take care. BC-A, Bill’s RLJst

I refused allpain relief when I had my operation. It hurt like awful
but no nausea and I recovered much quicker.

I am astonished at the amount of pain you had to endure from the injuries! I am very pleased that you fought them off in this awful state to avoid potential addiction! My brother had a friend who broke his neck in junior high in a tumbling accident and he became an addict because of the usage! You were so smart to rebel incessantly! sam

vicodin is way too over prescribed, sorry about your problems and pain, but reading just this makes me feel like I came into a movie after it started
