Not a speck of dust? Kabu says those people always get sick - I say they are sick!

And I know what you mean about dogs - my life sure has changed since we adopted Jag. He takes at least two hours out of my day, time I can ill afford. But give him up? NEVER...

Straightforward post and good for you luv, I read it to Kabu, especially the animal part.Come to think of it she got rid of all my towels when she came. Can't understand why, I had perfectly good old 'T' shirts for towels. She's such a spoiled brat.

Anyone with a theme per room should have known not to bring you the towels and mats.

We have our son-in-law's ex dropping off kids clothes for her ex and our daughter.  They go straight to charity.

2 dogs and a spotless house, huh? Does she write "How-to" articles? I could use one. I agree with you..our home is OUR castle - we get to choose the things we want to decorate it, and have every right to refuse other well-intentioned suggestions or gifts. Hope the plant makes it though.

honest IS the best policy
I dont play games of appreciation any more either, and plants, well they do have a will of their own.

The only plants that survive in my home are cactii or African violets. Apart from the occasional spider I too live alone. The most welcome gifts from visitors are fruit, coffee and wine; I've got enough trinkets to start my own gift shop. So Pat, I can sympathise with you.
