Re: Ciel
Yep, it is in fact, true! Also true if less interesting is that the discovery was made by my very own physical anthropology prof and his team of grad students, several of whom I knew also. Though I was a lowly undergrad, and most likely none of them would have noticed me, except the prof who had to give me a grade.

....Okay SERIOUSLY, are y'all just pulling my leg now? FSI said 'Lucy was a friend of Julian's', now you're telling me she was a fossil/dinosaur/something? Oh COME ON! Just cause we didn't get the song....sheesh! Next thing you're going to tell me it was a song dedicated to John's great auntie, who's name was Lucille, Lucy for short.....Ciel, this this for real? After that bratty teenager at Jeanette's berated us, I don't know what to believe anymore....!

That song is how 'Lucy'
(no longer the earliest hominid in fossil form) got her name: The song was playing as the discoverers pored over their find...

Lucy just died. She was a friend of Lennon's son Julian. To make a long story short I believe Lennon played off the name to get LSD.

Alas, I fear everyone does know that, but I prefer Lennon's more mundane explanation for the song.
I guess the only thing worse than brilliance delayed is brilliance that never arrives.

Hahahahahahaa....

I have to laugh. But you know it's just like me to be the same way. I'm a little slow sometimes myself.

Teenagers just know it all, don't they. LOL! (they think they do)
