I am actually speechless which is a rare occasion
I just want to tell you all that your thoughts count more than you will ever imagine. I only did what had to do in order to survive. The accident was 5 years ago, and it took me this long to finally put it on paper and talk about it. So once again
thank you

I invariably revel in stories that talk of strength, grit and resilience. Your real life story of springing back with so little to hang on to is exceptional, and draws my deep reverence and admiration for you as a rare breed. Guess the slough of despond is necessary for one to be hoisted to the realm of the Divine.

Ninja turtles are good! Your kids must have enjoyed that part - but how on earth did you make it alone?

When my youngest was four he was injured when a shopping cart tipped.
He had what they call a green stick fracture of his left femur, and was bedfast in traction for more than six weeks, then in a body cast for another couple of months. Compared to what you had to deal with, it was nothing. But it was enough to give me a hint of what you endured. The thing is, I don't read "victim" anywhere in your story. It's all "survivor" and "winner." I don't know how you did it.

I am so shocked that you made it through with so little help! I think having children to take care gives one more impetus than they realize! The cast had to make a huge difference! sam

This is triumphant. I do not wish immobility on anyone, but the things we learn while we're down...priceless. I wish you a speedy recoversy.

The courage you have displayed. I just don't know how you and the kids
did this and what did you eat and how did you get groceries. Those kids must really have hated being with their father.
